Our SAE 100R15 multilayer wire ultra-high pressure wound hydraulic hose is specifically designed for ultra-high pressure hydraulic systems in heavy industry. It is extensively used in offshore drilling equipment, large construction machinery, mining operations, steel mills, and heavy-duty manufacturing equipment. This ultra-high pressure spiral hose is particularly suitable for hydraulic presses, injection molding machines, heavy lifting equipment, and hydraulic power units that operate at pressures exceeding 35 MPa. It is also widely used in hydraulic systems for marine applications, forestry equipment, and material handling machinery where extreme pressure performance is required. Like our other hydraulic hoses, it is not suitable for use with phosphate ester-based fluids.
The primary difference is the pressure rating. SAE 100R15 ultra-high pressure hydraulic hose has a working pressure of 42 MPa and burst pressure of 168 MPa, while SAE 100R13 has a working pressure of 35 MPa and burst pressure of 140 MPa. R15 also offers a more comprehensive size range.
Our SAE 100R15 hydraulic hose is available in sizes up to 102 mm (4 inch) nominal diameter, making it suitable for large-flow ultra-high pressure applications.
Yes, our multilayer wire ultra-high pressure wound hydraulic hose is suitable for offshore applications when properly installed and maintained. The oil- and weather-resistant cover provides excellent protection against marine environments.
All our SAE 100R15 hydraulic hoses are designed with a 4:1 safety factor, meaning the burst pressure is 4 times the rated working pressure, ensuring maximum safety in operation.
